2008 Limbic Sauvignon Blanc Aromas of passionfruit/tropical fruit salad, with lime, lemon and grapefruit on the palate, and a hint of grassiness. A small percentage of barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc adds a slight honey and spiciness. The palate is fine with the zingy acidity expected from a Sauvignon Blanc. Some mid-palate creaminess due to extended fine lees contact in the winemaking. Good length to a clean, vibrant finish. Screwcap. 13% alcohol.
